Melissa was born and raised in New England and has always had a deep rooted appreciation for nature and art. The powerful force of nature has always been her biggest source of inspiration, as well as her travels to different parts of the world. Melissa found her passion was jewelry and metalsmithing while studying sculpture at Massachusetts College of Art and Design. Once she received her BFA in 2013, Melissa became an Artist in Residence at a metals studio in Massachusetts. After working at various jewelry related businesses, Melissa then established her own jewelry line in January of 2015. She now enjoys life in the Sierra Nevada mountains, making powerful jewelry pieces for the adventurous soul.
