Larry Whitcomb is a retired electronics semiconductor integrated circuit test and applications engineer from San Jose, Ca. He has attend classes at the University of Maine, San Jose State University, Santa Clara University, University California Berkley, San Jose City College, Evergreen City College, Foothill City College, West Valley City College, De Anza City College, Academy of Arts College in San Francisco, PPA, Nikon, Corel Painter, and other photography related training courses and workshops. For the last 10 years he has been working with the Professional Photographers of Santa Clara Valley creating photography related workshops and promoting all aspects of photography. Having owned a home in South Lake Tahoe for 20+ years, he is now a full time resident, and joins with other photographers in the area to promote training and skill set advancement for enthusiasts in the area. Working with the High Vibe Society at South Lake Tahoe, we hope to create a community of growth providing workshops in Photoshop, location and studio lighting, film developing, composition, critiquing, printing, group trips and shoots, framing, digital painting, and all things photographic. Larry also works in traditional art mediums such as pencil, chalk, pen & ink, water colors, acrylic and oil painting, woodworking, stained glass, ceramics, and enjoys cooking, wine, and the celebration of life.
