Erin is a New York Native, with North Carolina roots, who is passionate about bringing our community together through creativity,  building creative and compassionate businesses, and being active in creating the world she wants to see.  After graduating college with a degree in sustainable agriculture and economics, Erin worked doing public relations, marketing and community outreach for local organic farms and organizations where she gathered many skills, including understanding how to build community around common necessities. She had also built herself a successful recycled jewelry line in addition to taking commissions on skate & surfboard artwork before moving to South Lake in 2014. After not finding the creative community she was looking for and meeting others who felt the same, she decided to create it herself! She is the founder and managing director at the Collective. She likes to think of herself as a chameleon in the arts, however, is not a master at any given medium. Currently, she has been experimenting in natural fiber weaving and embroidery. At any given point, you can find her in her own studio working on her newest projects, meeting with new members, collaborating on events, or making sense of our books.  She is so passionate about everything that she does and hopes to hold space for others to be able to follow their light, too.
